ESG Activities
Senshu Electric Group (hereinafter referred to as “our Group”) recognizes that the appropriate management of various risks surrounding our business activities is essential for sustainable growth and the enhancement of corporate value over the medium to long term.
Led by the Risk Management Committee established under our Board of Directors, our Group will appropriately identify and assess risks that could have a significant impact on our management; work to prevent such risks and minimize their impact; and promote the continuous strengthening and improvement of our risk management framework.
We will identify various risks associated with our business activities in a timely and appropriate manner, evaluate them based on factors such as their likelihood of occurrence and potential impact, determine which risks are significant, and implement measures to address them.
We will establish a risk management framework for the Group and promote risk management with clearly defined responsibilities and roles, through collaboration among each department and Group companies.
In addition, with regard to sustainability risks, we will work in collaboration with the Sustainability Committee to appropriately identify and assess risks associated with our business activities, and to consider and implement necessary countermeasures.
We will formulate and implement preventive and responsive measures against significant risks and strive to prevent such risks from materializing.
In addition, through regular risk identification and assessment, we will detect potential risks at an early stage and take necessary measures, striving to reduce both the likelihood and the impact of those risks.
In the event that a significant risk materializes, we will prioritize safeguarding human life and safety, preventing further damage, ensuring business continuity and prompt recovery, responding to customers and business partners, and disclosing information appropriately.
To prepare for unforeseen events such as natural disasters, accidents, infectious diseases, and cyberattacks, we will develop and review our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and strive to strengthen our framework to ensure business continuity and prompt recovery.
Through training and awareness-raising activities for executives and employees, we aim to raise awareness of risk management and promote the establishment of risk management practices throughout the Group.
We will regularly review and evaluate the status of our risk management, and strive to continuously improve our risk management framework and response measures in response to changes in the business environment and emerging risks.
