Company and Business Details
When was your company founded and established?
Our company was founded as Nishimura Electric Trading Firm in January 1947.
Senshu Electric Co., Ltd. was established on November 18, 1949, and celebrated its 70th anniversary on November 18, 2019.
Additionally, November 18 was designated (in 2018) as "DENSEN (electric wire) Day" by the Japanese Electric Wire & Cable Makers' Association, and we feel that this is deeply connected with our company and electric wires.

What is the origin of your company's name?
Our company name derives from the fact that our founder's birthplace was in Kishiwada City, Osaka Prefecture, which is part of the Senshu region.
Additionally, the abbreviation "STEC" in our company logo stands for SENSHU (S), Technology (T), Electric (E), Company (C).
When did your company go public and become listed?
Our company was first listed on the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange (specially designated) in June 1991.
In January 1996, we were listed on the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.
In November 2002, we were listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
In November 2017, we were relisted on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Since April 4, 2022, we have transitioned to the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The price of copper, which is the main material for electric wires, affects the selling price of electric wires, but we also handle many products that are not affected by copper prices.

@sky (at-sky), which includes our own brand, was launched in 2009 and began doing sales through catalogs.
In 2018, we opened the @sky catalog site (https://sky.senden.co.jp/), which is very popular among our business partners.
Development of new fields
We are promoting the expansion of sales in the new field of agri-business by introducing test results and agricultural products at our Nagakute Plastic Greenhouse (Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture) using our Soil Heater underground heated vinyl wire for agricultural houses.
